Ingleside Children’s Home can look after up to 7 children at any time. We take children from age 9 years up to 18 years of age. Each child is accepted upon their needs and our ability to meet
those needs, whilst taking into account the needs of all the children currently in placement.
We are a warm nurturing home that is in a safe environment close to many schools, parks with lots of places to visit nearby.
We pride ourselves on providing a high quality of care with consistent routines, in a family like environment. In order to do this, the young people are at the centre of the decision-making to ensure they reach their potential.
We firmly believe in a clear matching process which forms the basis of our care planning and risk assessment process. Training is geared to matching the needs of the young people to ensure we work within our statements of purpose. Young people are given the opportunity to pursue their own interests with the support from staff. The young people are valued and
listened to and have weekly key worker sessions. The young people are able to decorate their rooms of their own choice and are given the opportunity to voice their views in the running of the home through young people’s meetings and 1-1 sessions with their allocated key worker.
