Description:

ROC Northwest Ltd offers residential care, education and domiciliary care for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Learning, Physical Disabilities and complex needs with challenging behaviour.

We have 4 homes in Lancashire.

Aroona (Lancaster) caters for 4 young people with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour, in the main house and also has a self-contained annexe, supporting independent living transition for those young people who require a sole occupancy placement.

Kirkwood (Padiham) is home to 2 young people with learning/physical disabilities. The home has been converted to include tracking and en-suite fully accessible bathroom.

Tower View (Foulridge) is home to 5 young people with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour.

Mountwood Academy (Department of Education registered) caters for boys and girls, aged 8 to 19, with Statements of Special Educational Needs).

We have a 24 hours, 7 days a week, holistic approach to learning, achievement and progress.

We base all learning on the national curriculum, but we modify and personalise it to make it interesting, exciting and relevant to the specific needs of our young people.

We achieved Investors in People Award for the 8th Year running and are accredited with the National Autistic Society.

We have won the LaingBuisson Award for Management Excellence in 2016 and for Children’s Services in 2017.
