Description:

Our Provision
SHS was established in 2015 and is one of the leading Independent Residential Childcare providers in the West Midlands. We predominantly support and accommodate Children and Young People in Care (CYPIC). We enable our Young People to develop the skills and confidence necessary to fulfill their potential, as well as empowering them to express their diverse needs.

Our Work
At SHS, we believe it is important to work collaboratively and in partnership with the Young People by using a Team Around the Child approach method, that includes the Young Person’s social worker and/or any other professionals involved in their care.

Helping Children
Our mission is to nurture and empower Children in Care with the kind of intervention and compassion that transforms their lives and promotes their well-being in a high-quality environment.

Philosophy & Mission
We strive to follow the ethos of the 2010 ‘helping children achieve more,’ by building effective and positive therapeutic relationships with our Young People that will help sustain a person-centred care approach to care.

Our Homes
In our homes we aim to provide a safe, secure, nurturing environment to help to deliver service excellence and positive future outcomes for our young people.
