The ethos of Stanfield Care Service is to offer a continuous and individual service, based upon quality care, education and health, for every child, regardless of age or circumstance.
We have a commitment to the protection, welfare, growth and development of all young people. Through policy, procedures, training and the behaviour of all involved in our organisation, these values and beliefs are promoted. We aim to achieve the best possible outcomes for all of our young people.
‘The strategy at Stanfield Care Services is to have high expectations of both staff and young people, to ensure individuals make maximum achievements’.
We subscribe fully to promoting and advancing children’s rights, in conjunction with the Quality Standards Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
In addition, we subscribe to a holistic approach of aiming to provide a positive service to the young people we care for.
This means providing positive adult role models, good carers, broad leisure and recreational opportunities.
The service aims to be one of an inclusive environment of giving, rather than taking away and of developing realistic
boundaries set in context of the young person’s prevailing circumstances.
To augment the above and through care planning, we work in partnership with others to meet discreet needs of young people, for example psychological, emotional, health needs etc.
The duration of a young person’s placement is subject to their individual needs, as outlined in their Care Plan and Child’s Placement Plan.
